Our History

Hope was established in 2003 in response to the vision provided by the Korean-speaking ministry of Hope Presbyterian Church. After an eighteen-year mission to build up a future generation of believers in the United States, the Korean ministry initiated an English Ministry that would serve as a means for young adults to receive the Word and be challenged to go out and serve God’s Kingdom.

This new ministry began with a core group of students and young professional who had attended Hope Presbyterian Church as their home church. However, since 2004, under the leadership of Pastor Kee Won Huh and his team of leaders, the ministry has become a full-fledged ministry that has expanded beyond its initial beginnings.

Hope is now a full-fledged, missional church that is pursuing the renewal and transformation of lives both locally and abroad. Through the mobilization of congregants and various organizations throughout the world, Hope has become a church who’s influence is reaching both far and deep. And in the relentless pursuit of God’s purpose, mission, and vision, the leaders of Hope are now pushing the envelope to find new, relevant, and creative ways of helping people experience God and the Gospel.
