Is donating online secure?
Making an online donation is a completely secure and safe way to donate money to your desired team member(s). We use Paypal to receive and process your payment, which is protected by industry recognized encryption and security technology. All information entered online will be secured via SSL and your payment will be processed using Paypal protected systems.

How and when does my donation get to the selected team member?
When you make an online donation, your selected team member will be notified via an email within a few hours of the successful processing of your donation. Once your credit card is successfully charged or funds transfered from your bank account, your team member’s missions account will be credited with the amount of your payment.

Do I need a Paypal account to donate online?
Although we use Paypal to process your donation, you do not need to have a Paypal account to make a donation. If you do not have a Paypal account, you will have an option to create a new account, or simply enter your payment information online. If you do have a Paypal account, you can log into your account and make a donation using the method of your choice.

What are my payment options?
You can donate using Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. If you have a Paypal account, you can also donate via a direct transfer from your bank account.

Will I receive a confirmation that my donation has been processed?
You will receive a confirmation email from service@paypal.com with the donation details after your donation has been successfully processed.

I’m still not comfortable donating online. Is there any other way I can make a donation?
You can mail us a check to Hope Presbyterian Church – P.O. Box 165, Teaneck, NJ 07666. Please do not forget to note which member of the team you would like your donation to support.

What if I have a problem making a donation?
You can contact us at info@hpcem.org if you run into any problems while donating online. We will do our best to respond to your question within 24 hours.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Your donation is 100% tax-deductible. You will receive a letter confirming your donation with the donated amount some time in January 2011. If you need this letter sooner, please contact us at missions@hpcem.org.

Can I make an online donation even if I don’t live in the United States?
Yes, you can make a donation via any major credit card even if you do not live in the United States.

Is it possible to donate to the general missions fund instead of a specific team member?
Yes, this is absolutely possible. Just select “General Missions Fund” from the drop-down menu to make a donation towards the general Hope EM missions fund.
